In the crowded slums of Sylhet, Bangladesh, thousands of children are left without access to education. Around 33% of the population here is illiterate, far higher than the national average.
To change this, Salam Charity launched the Dream School Program:
- 30 schools built in slum areas.
- 1,403 children enrolled, receiving free education and healthcare.
- Qualified teachers deliver a preparatory curriculum in safe, simple classrooms.
- On-site health services and free medicine ensure that children stay well and can attend school.

For refugee and vulnerable children in Lebanon, traditional schools often feel out of reach. To bridge this gap, Salam Charity created Tents of Dreams.
Launched in December 2022 with the support of award-winning Turkish actor Celal Al, this initiative provides:
5 Tents of Dreams, each hosting 30 children.
150 children enrolled in the first phase.
10 qualified teachers providing consistent, quality education.
The tents offer far more than lessons. They build confidence, prepare children to apply for traditional schools, and spark hope for a life beyond poverty.

To respond, Salam Charity established the Impact Vocational Centre:
Courses launched in Mobile Repairs and Graphic Design.
Designed to equip young people with practical skills and job readiness.
Students are also supported to find employment after completing training.
